Join a Challenge Group. Period. End of story! That is THE quickest & most successful path!

Why? Because Challenge Groups Include:

1. Healthy Eating Plan. Follow the eating plan in the beachbody workout of your choice or create your own with the meal planner on the teambeachbody.com site.  We highly recommend also replacing breakfast or lunch with Shakeology.  Shakeology is not a requirement for the group, but is highly recommended because we know that it will help you tremendously in overcoming cravings and will fill the nutritional gaps that you have in your daily nutrition. The key here is super nutrient-rich, whole foods, eliminate the processed junk - Shakeology is whole food in powdered form not a processed protein shake with mystery ingredients.

What is my Commitment to the Group?
Here is the Challenge Group Commitment that everyone in the group agrees to and "signs" by posting in the group that "I agree".

Challenge Group Requirements
(1) I WILL POST EVERY DAY! This is to hold you accountable and to provide support and encouragement to the others who are taking part in the group with you. If I start to see you slacking, I will message you to make sure everything is OK. If you continue to not post, you will be removed from the group.

(2) I WILL COMPLETE THE “CHALLENGE OF THE DAY!” This is something else to keep you engaged and accountable. Every day I will be posting a “Challenge of the Day,” which can involve anything from taking pictures of your meals to talking about things you enjoy doing.

(3) I WILL FOLLOW THE PROGRAM! When I mean follow the program, I’m talking about BOTH the diet and the workouts! You won’t get results if you commit to just one of them.

(4) I WILL KEEP TRACK OF MY DIET! For the first 90 days, record what you eat every day into www.myfitnesspal.com or their phone app.

(5) I WILL TAKE PROGRESS PICTURES! You should be taking Day 1, Day 30, Day 60, and Day 90 pictures. You can post them in the group if you’d like, but if not, no big deal. Just make sure you take them.

(6) I WILL POST MY DIET EVERY DAY! At the end of each day, post what you ate for accountability. Be TRUTHFUL!

S: 1/4c. Almonds
L: Shakeology with almond milk, 1Tb natural PB, banana

Using: TurboFire and Shakeology
Well, I just got some good news :) Seems as though this "new lifestyle" thing is paying off in more ways than one. I went to the doctor last week for the first time since I started with BeachBody (last visit was April 2012).
Initially, I felt good when the doctor was irritated because he assumed that I had gastric bypass and wanted to know what surgeon had done the work without requesting my records. When I told him I hadn't had surgery, he was floored and spent the next 15 minutes or so asking me TONS of questions and wanting to know more and more because "he's never seen someone lose so much weight so quickly without a medical intervention" :)

But - then it came to actual numbers. Last year, my triglycerides were pretty high - right under 400 (where the normal range for my age is 10-150). My cholesterol was pretty elevated, along with my sugar, sodium and several others.

Last week my doctor did a LOT of tests - literally look about 7-8 vials of blood - and I just got my results. Triglycerides are at 60 (a drop of more then 300 points) - and EVERY SINGLE range is just about smack-dab right in the middle of the scale. He couldn't be happier - and that has really put a big smile (and sigh of relief) on me for the day. Onwards and upwards! :)

If I had one word to describe a challenge group it would be success because that's exactly what you achieve. Yes, a workout that you enjoy and Shakeology to cleanse/energize your body are key ingredients but a challenge group holds it all together. I have tried for many years to get in shape by working out, eating healthy but have always fallen back into my old habits. When the only person you have to answer to is yourself, it is so easy to minimize and justify why you can't do it. With a challenge group your held accountable for your actions, if you're struggling you have many people to get support from, and you get to make a lot of great friends who want the same things as you do. Being in a challenge group will continue to be an important part of my workouts!

Hello team members! I just wanted to take a minute to post my thoughts regarding this team and its leaders. This is a place where everyone wants to eat healthy/live healthy/make good choices. I joined the Beachbody Challenge because I saw the amazing transformation that an old friend went through. He encouraged me to give it a try...what did I have to lose? In the process, I have learned how to eat better, exercise regularly (6 days a week), and my whole being is transforming. I started the challenge 45 days ago and I have lost 10 lbs and 3" off my waist. I have changed the way I eat and the way I think about eating. I prepare healthy meals that are low calorie and I have found great suggestions from the people that are a part of this group. And most importantly, it is a way to remain accountable and not make excuses for myself. The people that are part of this group are positive and that is exactly what you need when you stumble and when you have a success to share. Nate and Nicole are always posting tips/recipes/and encouraging words for everyone's benefit. I am thankful to be a part of this team and look forward to continuing my healthy journey. I wish you all the best and I know if you stick to it...you WILL have SUCCESS! The truth is, I was praying for a way to get back on track with my health and God has answered those prayers with this amazing program.
